It is common for any show to get renewed in case it gets a positive response. However, a second season for ‘Harry & Meghan’ has not been confirmed by the makers and according to the latest updates, it might not happen anytime in the future.
Netflix Won’t Renew The Million Dollar Deal With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
Netflix is possibly planning not to renew the multimillion-dollar deal with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. ‘Harry & Meghan’ has received mixed reviews but the duo has not confirmed a second season for the show and now Netflix is not willing to do the same.
The news comes after Meghan reportedly lost a deal worth $20 million with Spotify after her podcast series ‘Archetypes’ released 12 episodes in 27 months. The deal was announced back in 2020 and was reportedly paid to Harry and Meghan in installments.
Netflix believes that Meghan is living in her own bubble and is yet to understand the economic reality. A source mentioned that there is a less friendly attitude and the feeling is that “the lemon has been fully squeezed.” Meghan was also planning for an animated series titled ‘Pearl’ for Netflix but the plans were dropped.

The show received a mixed reaction from critics with a rating of 46% on Rotten Tomatoes. Although a lot of publications reacted to the documentary, the royal family refused to comment, and according to public reviews, it was a bad decision for the duo to release their documentary.
