The long-running feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B has gotten their spouses in on it as well. Both artists have had a feud over the years in person as well as over social media since 2018’s Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party. Both the rappers got into a physical fight leaving the ‘WAP‘ singer bruised like a peach.
And now Kenneth Petty, Nicki Minaj’s husband shared a video of himself threatening Offset, Cardi B’s spouse which resulted in him serving a home detention program for a close monitoring of his activities.

Kenneth Petty Placed On House Arrest For Threatening Offset
Recently, a video recorded by Kenneth Petty, Nicki Minaj’s husband along with two unidentifiable men was recirculated on Twitter as well as Instagram which became viral on September 16. The content of the video seems like a threat to Offset, asking him to plan his funeral. However, Offset laughed off the threat instead of taking it personally.
But because of his immature actions, Kenneth Petty has been served up for 120 days in a home detention program by the Central District of California. The legal document read, “Petty was recorded on video making threatening remarks towards a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record”.

Kenneth Petty’s Past Jail Time
Before the entire debacle with Offset, in 2020 Kenneth Petty was arrested after pleading guilty to failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California. Nicki Minaj’s husband was registered as a sex offender as he was convicted of the first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1995. But Petty was sentenced to 18 to 54 months of prison time, but only spent four years.
During a hearing in Los Angeles, Kenny Petty was sentenced to three years of probation and a year of in-home detention as per the reports of the US Attorney’s Office. But after threatening Offset, Petty’s house arrest just got extended, hoping to keep a close watch on him.
