But the 48-year-old English lady’s personal life seems to be in hot waters. There seems to be a full-on cold war going on between Victoria and her new daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz. She tied the knot with Victoria and soccer superstar David Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn Beckham recently.
Victoria Beckham At Loggerheads With New Daughter-In-Law
According to a report from Page Six, Victoria seems to be not getting along with her new daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz. Peltz, who is 27, just married Brooklyn (23) back in April this year.
A source close to the family has unveiled, “they can’t stand each other and don’t talk.” Further adding, “the build-up to the wedding was horrendous.”
Peltz is an actress by profession and the daughter of New York billionaire Nelson Peltz, a non-executive chairman of Madison Square Garden. The source says she didn’t want Victoria “to be any part of the planning, and she wouldn’t clue Victoria in on anything. Communication was minimal.”
The rift between the two has become “non-stop petty drama” and it’s coming between the Beckham family. “They haven’t spoken to him much in the last few months,” the source says. It even spilled over at Chez Becks when Brooklyn posted a cover of British magazine Tatler that called Peltz “The New Mrs. Beckham.”
Peltz Is Suspected To Be Jealous Of Victoria’s Popularity
Peltz is an actress who has appeared in the A&E drama series ‘Bates Motel‘ and in the 2014 film ‘ Transformers: Age of Extinction‘. The sources of Page Six suspect something that might be true about this cold shoulder.
It suggests that she may be suffering from a bit of jealousy about her husband’s mother because she is so popular. She is not thrilled with the attention she gets, especially around her wedding day.
Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding was done in a traditional Jewish ceremony in April this year. In front of 600 guests and a rabbi, the bride and groom performed their own vows. Nicole’s grandmother served as her maid of honor for their marriage.
Brookly and Nicola first met in October 2019 and Brooklyn proposed to her in July 2020. Nicola has a tattoo of Brooklyn’s first name on her back left shoulder. Brooklyn has also inked Nicola’s love letter and their wedding vows on his body.
