Priscilla Presley was moved by the audience’s reaction to the film. Despite not being part of the panel, she talked about her relationship with Elvis. Despite divorcing him, she has nothing but fondness for her late ex-husband, speaking about their relationship’s mutual respect and purity.

Priscila Presley took questions from journalists during the press conference for Sofia Coppola’s film about her relationship with Elvis Presley. The former ‘Naked Gun’ actress answered with patience, occasionally getting teary-eyed while mentioning Elvis Presley. The former actress told the present company about her favorite part of the film, the ending, despite finding the film hard to watch.
According to Variety, Priscilla Presley said, “It’s very difficult to sit and watch a film about you, and about your life, about your love “Sofia did an amazing job. She did her homework. We spoke a couple of times, and I really put everything out for her that I could […] It was very difficult for my parents to understand that Elvis would be so interested in me, and why.”

Elvis Presley Estate Hates Sofia Coppola’s Film ‘Priscilla’
The Elvis Presley estate won’t be lining up to buy the tickets to ‘Priscilla.‘ According to a TMZ report, they have called the film a cheap “college film.” There’s been a lot of sensitivity regarding how Coppola chose to display Graceland in the film.
The film is based on Priscilla Presley’s 1985 memoir ‘Elvis And Me,’ Sofia Coppola’s ‘Priscilla’ stars Cailee Spaeny in the titular role. Jacob Elordi plays Elvis Presley. It will be released in the United States by A24 on October 27, 2023.
