King Charles with his wife and Queen Consort Camilla was out this morning in Yorkshire, England, for an engagement to attend. In the peaceful gathering arose a commotion when flying eggs were shot at the royal members.
King Charles III has previously been in a similar but scarier and life-threatening situation in 1994 in Australia, and guess we can say that the man knows how to stay calm and composed when posed against such uncertainties amidst the crowd. Here are the full details in to the commotion that ensued.

Anti-Monarchy Slogans Could Be Heard As Eggs Were Thrown At King Charles III
Since the passing away of the longest reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth, in September, King Charles III, was instated as the new King of the United Kingdom almost immediately. On November 9, 2022, he, along with her wife Camilla, visited Yorkshire for many engagements, the foremost being the unveiling of the statue of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
While being welcomed to York by city leaders, the two-faced four flying eggs targeted at them, all of which couldn’t really hit the King and Queen consort and ended up splashed on the street. According to the footage and witnesses, the man was screaming, “this country was built on the blood of slaves.” When the police detained the 23-year-old, he could also be heard saying, “Not my king.”
When the protestor made anti-monarchy slogans, the people surrounding him took their stance as well. Some people in the crowd booed at the protestor and started chanting “God save the king” and “shame on you“.
Twitter, of course, didn’t let this commotion go, and like every time, there were hilarious conversations surrounding this new gimmick.

Meanwhile, other users talked about the unfazed reaction of Charles to the flying eggs.
King Charles dodging eggs without even trying has in fact only made him look more based than he actually is https://t.co/wxTnEpnwQP

The expensive price of the eggs was another topic people joked about.
Right? I was thinking "damn, eggs must be inexpensive in the UK" (Im American). Long over are the days when teenagers egg someones house and wrapped it in toilet paper 🤣

Like every time, of course, the mention of the late Princess Diana had to be there. A user jokingly tweeted, “Diana’s Revenge“.

Twitter Brings Back The Time King Charles III Missed Near Assassination
With the unexpected eggs-throwing act today, many got reminded of a past similar happening. In 1994, King Charles (then Prince Charles) was the target of a gunshot, and luckily, he was saved by near assassination. In the footage, as can be seen, Charles is unfazed by an almost near-death experience. He continues to fix his shirt cufflinks, smirking while his bodyguards pin Mr. Kang (the guilty) to the ground.
I was thinking that this moment demonstrates very well what King Charles III is also like. This happened in Australia in 1994. Someone fired a gun, his security team reacted immediately but the King just stood there, fixing his cufflinks and looking calm.
