Justin Roiland Has Been Cleared Of All Charges
The entire animation empire of Justin Roiland came crashing down last month after charges of domestic violence surfaced against him. He was kicked out of the adult swim series ‘Rick and Morty.’
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Orange County District Attorney has cleared Roiland of the charges leveled against him. Kimberly Edds, the office’s spokesperson said: “This case was dismissed as a result of insufficient evidence to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.”
In his statement, Roiland called these claims “false“, calling this news “justice” for him. “I never had any doubt that this day would come,” he said. “I’m thankful that this case has been dismissed but, at the same time, I’m still deeply shaken by the horrible lies that were reported about me during this process.”
He further said that he is disappointed because several people “were so quick to judge without knowing the facts.” The voice actor said that these allegations were from an “embittered ex” who tried to “bypass due process and have me ‘canceled.’”

Roiland Was Accused Of Domestic Violence
In January this year, a 2020 charge of domestic violence against Roiland surfaced after an NBC News article was published. Both Adult Swim and Hulu cut ties with him immediately.
Roiland was the co-creator of two Hulu shows, ‘Solar Opposites’ and ‘Koala Man.’ He also resigned from the developer Squanch Games and pleaded not guilty. Several employees at Adult Swim started to speak up about him.
They said that Roiland would often crack inappropriate jokes in the office and later on, started fully working from home. Harmon and Roiland were not on talking terms because of the latter’s unprofessional behavior.
