Super Bowl 2023 did not just have fans cheering for the two finalist teams – Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, instead, there was a third team as well – Team Rihanna! Pop Queen made a phenomenal comeback after seven years and was most supported by her best friend Cara Delevingne. With the excitement of Rihanna’s performance, the Kansas City fans were in for a double delight as their team won by a close two points.
During an interview at Apple Music’s Super Bowl press conference, The Caribbean Queen revealed her plan to use her time on stage to represent her country, immigrants, and black people. She wanted to set an example for her kids with her beau, rapper ASAP Rocky.
Rihanna’s Best Friend Cara Delevingne Comes To Her Support
Cara Delevinge, the pop star’s best friend supported her from the front-row seat as the ‘Umbrella‘ star performed one of her greatest hits during the Apple Music Halftime Show. The ‘Suicide Squad‘ actress shared a photo during the game, seen standing with the fields in her background with a shirt that quoted, “Rihanna concert interrupted by a football game, weird but whatever”. The second picture was of Delevinge lifting the tee and flashing her toned abs and the inside of the top features Rihanna’s face secured in a football helmet.
Not only did the model come to Rihanna’s support but also actress Kerry Washington shared a couple of her posts on Instagram during the Super Bowl with the same Fenty tee. In the first picture she was on the coach and in the second she pointed at the words printed on the Fenty tee. This bold quoted tee is part of Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty ‘Game Day’ collection.

Rihanna’s Powerful Super Bowl Performance
The fans were excited to see RiRi perform after seven years, the time when she was pregnant with her first child. This year the rockstar made a glamorous entry in a silk jersey catsuit in a vibrant crimson hue. She then revealed her baby bump, rubbing her stomach and leaving the zipper of her outfit a jumpsuit layered over a close-fitting bodysuit. Rihanna performed a few of her famous hits from ‘Diamonds‘, ‘We Found Love’, and ‘Work‘.
Rihanna’s beau ASAP Rocky was also present during her performance at the halftime show, supporting his love from the stands. He was also caught filming and dancing along with the soon-to-be mommy. Meanwhile, the Fenty beauty owner took a brief pause from her music career and has not released any solo album since January 2016.
