Sharon Stone Picks the Co-Star Who Tops Her List of ‘Best Kissers’ In Hollywood

In Short
  • Sharon Stone named the "best kisser" in Hollywood during an interview.
  • She recalled a memorable kiss scene from one of her films that left her impressed.
  • Stone's experience with the actor contributed to her critical acclaim from the film, including an Oscar nomination.

Sharon Stone has shared the screen and plenty of on-screen kisses with some of Hollywood’s biggest names over the years.

But when it comes to picking the one co-star, she revealed exactly which A-list actor left her completely swept away and even called him the “best kisser” in Hollywood.

Stone appeared on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy on April 1, where host Andy Cohen asked her about working with Robert De Niro. The question quickly took a turn, and Stone didn’t hold back when talking about her experience.

She said of De Niro, “He’s the best kisser in the business.” She even added, “He kissed me right out of my shoes.” This itself means a lot, especially because Stone has worked with many big stars in her career.

The conversation naturally circled back to Casino, the 1995 Martin Scorsese film where De Niro played mob-connected gambler Sam “Ace” Rothstein, while Stone portrayed Ginger McKenna.

Recalling the exact moment, Stone said, “I remember we did this scene where I have to go to the bathroom, and because I play this hustler, I get him to give me money to go to the bathroom,” she explained.

He gives me this money, and I look at him like, ‘Really? I think I need a little more than a 50 for the bathroom.’ And he looks at me, and he reaches in and gives me like a hundred, and then I lean over, and I kiss him,” Stone continued.

What happened next surprised even her. “He really just knocked me out, right? And [Scorsese] cut, and he looks at us, and he goes, ‘I think we got it, but would you guys like another one?’ We both looked at him and went, ‘Yeah, I think maybe we need one more,’” the star shared.

While Casino brought Sharon Stone critical acclaim, including her first Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in 1996, it also gave her one of the most memorable on-screen experiences of her career. Even decades later, Stone has remained connected to the film’s legacy.

She recently stepped out in New York City wearing a 1960s-inspired hairstyle, echoing the era that shaped Casino’s visual identity. Her wardrobe in the film, including the baby blue pleather Courrèges skirt suit, even inspired what people now call the “mob wife” aesthetic.
