Elon Musk is here to remind you his humanoids will come in different shapes and preferences. At last year’s tech event in Palo Alto, Musk unveiled Optimus, the prototype robot, for the first time. With an assembly line of Optimuses, Musk wants to bring them to market soon. But work’s not the only activity for which Musk’s robots will be helpful.

The Tesla CEO is also combining his fascination for anime with the mind of robotics. He’s repeatedly said his technical creations will also come with catgirl skins. Many have teased Musk about his obsession with fictitious characters. But his latest tweet is a reminder of how serious he is.

Elon Musk’s Tesla To Create Catgirl Robots

Elon Musk hopes Optimus will be part of every household shortly. During last year’s Tesla AI Day event in Palo Alto, it impressed the audience by performing human functions like movement and daily chores. It remains a work in progress, as Tesla is still ironing out the kinks. 

Elon Musk said at the event, “Our goal is to make a useful humanoid robot as quickly as possible. We’ve also designed using the same discipline that we use in designing the car which is, to say, to design for manufacturing, such that it’s possible to make the robot at a high volume at low cost with high reliability.”

But the Tesla CEO is not far from the idea of using the same tech to create robots for human pleasure. During a conversation with Chris Anderson, the tech billionaire reiterated his promise to “make a robot catgirl.” His latest tweet with a screen grab shows he intends to make his fantasy come to life. It says, “Optimus will come in many forms.”
