While ‘The Beef’ hangs up its sign for good, Carmy and Sydney look forward to keeping their passion alive with a new and improved version of the sandwich shop. Newly focussed, they can finally cook how they want to and not worry about a disruptive environment.
The first season of ‘The Bear’ ended with Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) finally coming clean about his drinking problem. He also talks about going into the restaurant business because he never felt welcomed at the family restaurant. Cousin Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) hands Carmy a letter from his late brother Mikey (Jon Bernthal), leading them to a large amount of cash. While this might have solved a few issues, Carmie realizes it’s time for new beginnings.

The trailer for ‘The Bear‘ gives a look at the cast which includes Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Edwin Lee Gibson, and Matty Matheson return. Jon Bernthal could appear in flashbacks similar to the first season. Molly Gordon and Bob Odenkirk guest star in the second season.
Created by Christopher Storer, the second season of ‘The Bear‘ will consist of 10 episodes. It will focus on the professional relationship between Carmie and Sydney’s character. Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and executive producer Joanna Calo told Variety that the relationship would not become romantic at any point.
