‘The Flash’ To Be Shelved By Warner Bros. Due To Ezra Miller And His Legal Troubles?

Ezra Miller is someone who has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ actor is known for giving really good performances on screen, especially as ‘The Flash‘ in the DC Extended Universe. Another thing that creates headlines for them is their eccentric fashion sense.

The 29-year-old actor, however, has had a consistent run-in with the law for the past few months. This might threaten the future of his upcoming superhero film ‘The Flash.’ Some reports suggest that Warner Bros. might be contemplating shelving the film. This is due to the ever-increasing legal problems of Miller.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is feeling the pressure mounting on them because of Ezra’s continuous legal issues.

The Flash‘, starring Ezra in the titular role, is a big-budget film that will hit the theaters on June 23, 2023. A source has said that the studio is planning three possible scenarios.

First is that Warner might approach Miller’s mother to seek professional help after returning home to their farm in Vermont. The actor is then expected to clarify his behavior to the media. The second scenario suggests that the film will be released but Miller won’t be involved in promoting it. The third situation might be used if Miller continues to get into trouble. They might scrap the $200 million film. All this comes amidst the axing of ‘Batgirl‘ after a change in leadership in Warner Bros.

The Vermont State Police are looking for a missing 25-year-old woman and her three kids aged five, four, and one respectively. They were living on Miller’s Vermont farm.

The official believes that ‘The Flash‘ actor might be hiding their whereabouts. Ezra, however, told the cops that the family had not lived there in months. The State Attorney’s office said that it looks like an attempt to “evade service” of the order.

The court stated that the cops attempted at least twice to serve the mother an emergency care order requested by the State Attorney’s office. The order demanded the youngsters’ removal from both the property and her care. It was made for her children’s safety, as Miller’s property is allegedly filled with guns, arms ammunition, and marijuana.

The woman was posting daily on their social media until mid-July when her account was mysteriously deleted. Just a few weeks ago Miller was charged with felony burglary for stealing bottles of alcohol from a private home.
