Britney Spears Talks About Her Conservatorship In An Audio Clip
The Grammy Award winner shared a bombshell audio clip on her YouTube channel on Sunday. In the now-deleted 22-minute clip, Britney talks about all the abuse she went through during the conservatorship.
Spears also talked about why she turned down “lots of money” to do an interview with Oprah Winfrey. “I get nothing out of sharing all of this,” she said. “I have offers to do interviews with Oprah and so many people [for] lots and lots of money, but it’s insane. I don’t want any of it. For me, it’s beyond a sit-down proper interview.”
According to Page Six, Britney also slammed her family for abandoning her during that time. “They literally killed me. They threw me away,” she continued. “I felt like my family threw me away.”
Britney further said, “I was performing for thousands of people at night in Vegas, the rush of being a performer, the laughter, the respect … I was a machine. I was a f–king machine, not even human almost. It was insane.”

Spears Wanted To Leave The Country With A Guy
The ‘Toxic‘ singer described how her family controlled every aspect of her life. She was once in a “secret relationship” with an unnamed man.
“I was talking to a guy, and he wanted to just leave the country with me. We had it all set up to leave, and it was a secret relationship,” she said.
She told her then-assistant at the time, “My biggest fear was ‘What would my dad do if I did do something wrong? What if they found me? What would they do?’ … And she looked at me and said, ‘Are you kidding me, Britney? Your dad would never do that to you.’”
In the audio clip, Spears also talked about the militant sort of rule she had to follow at that time. “They put me in an ignorant state of mind to make me feel like I needed them,” she said. “If you don’t do what we say, we’re going to show you who’s boss,” she was allegedly told.
