Skrulls is a character that is currently familiar to everyone who has been following the MCU since the beginning. The extraterrestrial shapeshifters were introduced in ‘Captain Marvel’ in 2019 and they appeared again in ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’, ‘WandaVision’, ‘What If…?’ and the upcoming series, ‘Secret Invasion.’
However, there is another group that has been featured in Marvel Comics for a long time. It is none other than the Super-Skrulls. The group has not made its cinematic debut until now but as MCU has revealed its future plans, there is a possibility that they might appear. But people must know that they are entirely different from the Skrull.

Super Skrulls Are The Special Operatives Of The Skrull Empire              Â
Super Skrulls have been described as super soldiers with superpowers. They have technological powers and they are Skrull warriors who volunteered to undergo the enhancement to become Super-Skrulls. They could also be clowns born in the lab as Super Skrulls.
The Super Skrulls are deployed by the Skrull Empire. They are sent individually or in squadrons and assignments given to them include the protection of Skrull worlds, serving as front-line combat shock troops, as doppelgangers of superheroes, or as sleeper agents.
The size of the Super Skrulls has not been revealed yet. While the Skrulls invaded the Earth, many of them were deployed alone in New York City. They received training at the best facilities like the War-Moon orbiting Tarnax IV which was destroyed alongside Thorneworld by Galactus and different training centers on Tarnax VII which were destroyed by Kree Starbrand.

Differences Between Super Skrulls And Normal Skrulls
As mentioned earlier, Skrulls have been appearing on various animated television and video games over the years until they made their MCU debut in 2019. Although they have been described as similar to Super Skrulls, the latter are the elite shock trips, infiltrators, and special operatives of the Skrull Empire.
But the normal Skrulls are extraterrestrial shapeshifters and are from the planet Skrullos. Their empire is located in the Andromeda Galaxy and they were firstly a mercantile civilization interested in free trade and ready to share their technology with any race that was worthy of it.
The Skrulls will be featured in a Disney+ miniseries, ‘Secret Invasion.’ The show is scheduled to premiere on June 21, 2023.
