Friends and followers had mourned over the death of the TikTok star Cooper Noriega six months back. At the time of death, it was ruled out as an accident. He was found dead in the parking lot in Burbank, California. Cooper was pronounced dead by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner-Coroner. His cause of death was deferred as it hadn’t been determined.
“There are no words to express the grief and loss. It’s not supposed to be this way. Your child is not supposed to pass before his parents,” Cooper’s father had penned an emotional statement at the time of Cooper’s tragic death. Though the cause of death was not known then, with an autopsy and further investigation the cause has been disclosed.

What Caused Cooper Noriega’s Death?
Noriega was pronounced dead at the scene in the parking lot in Burbank, California on June 9, 2022. TikTok fame was 19 years old and was less than three weeks away from his 20th birthday at the time of his death. Back in June, the cause of death was unclear and was proceeded for autopsy and further investigation.
After six months the cause of his death has been determined to be due to the combined effects of fentanyl, lorazepam, which is used to treat anxiety, and alprazolam, also known as Xanax. Besides these, the coroner has also traced the recent use of clonazepam, another anxiety medicine. These acted as significant contributions to the 19-year-old’s death.
