Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow were once the most talked about couple in Hollywood. Their relationship, which started on the set of the crime thriller ‘Seven‘, was much publicized. The couple dated between 1994 to 1997 and even got engaged. However, they eventually parted ways.
The ill doings of the disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein went public in 2018 which led to the #metoo movement. Many celebs came out to talk about their experience with Harvey and Gwyneth was one of them. She talked about how Harvey behaved with her in a certain way and Brad confronted him for it.

When Brad Pitt Confronted Harvey Weinstein For Gwyneth Paltrow
In the wake of the #metoo movement in Hollywood, several women came out to talk about being harassed by Harvey Weinstein.
Gwyneth also talked about it in a 2018 appearance on The Howard Stern Show. “We had one incidence in a hotel room where he tried to, where he made a pass at me“, she said.
She continued, “And then I really kind of stood up to him. I told my boyfriend at the time, Brad Pitt. And I was very shaken by the whole thing and I had two movies, I’d signed up to do two movies with him.” The ‘Iron Man’ star explained that Brad leveraged his fame and power to protect her.
Paltrow concluded, “And Harvey was never inappropriate with me again.” Pitt, however, did Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Inglorious Basterds‘ years later. It was co-produced by Weinstein.
In 2019, Pitt talked about the incident, “At that moment, I was a boy from the Ozarks from the playground. That’s how we confronted with things. And I wanted to make sure nothing happened further because she was going to do two films.”

Pitt Tells Paltrow “I Do Love You” 25 Years After Their Breakup
In June, the former love birds came together for a Q&A interview for her lifestyle brand Goop. With Father’s Day around the corner, Paltrow star talked to Pitt about her late father, director Bruce Paltrow.
“I’ll never forget when we were engaged and he came to me one day, his eyes full of tears, and he said, ‘You know, I never really realized what they mean when they say you’re gaining a son. Like, I’m gaining a son,’” she recalled. “Why did you love him? Even though we didn’t get married, unfortunately.”
“Oh man, everything works out, doesn’t it?” the ‘Fight Club‘ actor told Paltrow. “I finally found the Brad I was supposed to marry,” joked the actress. She was referring to her husband Brad Falchuk, whom she married in 2018. “It just took me 20 years.”
Pitt then called their friendship “lovely” and said, “And I do love you.” Gwenyth responded with “I love you so much.”
