Jimmy Fallon
The writer’s strike will first create a huge blow for the late-night shows. The host of The ‘Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘ said, “I wouldn’t have a show if it wasn’t for my writers and I support them all the way. Whatever I can do to support the guild. I’m actually in the guild as well, so yeah. I couldn’t do my show without them. I support my whole staff.” Fallon also added that the Tonight Show will be on standby as a symbol of respecting the writer’s strike.
Olivia Wilde
The director of ‘Don’t Worry Darling‘ is sorry for the issue to blow up this way and strongly feels that the writers should be rewarded for what they truly deserve. Wilde said, “I support the writers … I support unions and they’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what they deserve. I wish it didn’t have to come to this”.

The ‘Community‘ star expressed her opinion on Twitter hoping that the producers make a deal with the writers. Yvette Nicole Brown tweeted, “Writers are ESSENTIAL. I stand with the @WGAWest. They deserve what they have been asking for. I pray the producers to go back to the table with a deal they can say yes to,”

During the Met Gala, Amanda Seyfried cheered the writers and voiced her support for the strike against the production houses like Netflix, Apple, Amazon, Universal, and Paramount. In an exclusive interview with Variety, the actress said, “Everything changed with streaming and everyone needs to be compensated for their work. It’s f***ing easy. I don’t get it.”

He further added, “Increases in compensation and streaming residuals are long overdue, and the success-based model is an adaptation that needs to be made to better realize the worth of our stories. I hope for a swift and fair agreement, but I’m aligned with the Guild for the long haul.”

The ‘Causeway‘ actor said, “I just hope that everyone is treated equally. I don’t think they get what they deserve and that people listen to them. People strike for a reason.” Brain Tyree Henry was nominated for Oscar and Emmy Awards for his role in ‘Causeway‘ and ‘Atlanta‘.
