Who Was Rosa Parks?
Rosa Parks was an activist who spearheaded the 1955 Montgomery bus boycott. It started after she was arrested post her refusal to surrender her seat to a white person on a bus.
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) recognized her going through a court challenge after her arrest for civil disobedience. Her efforts inspired the black community to boycott Montgomery buses for a year. It also paved the way for Browder v. Gayle decision, which stated that segregation on buses is unconstitutional.
Parks became an international face for resisting racial segregation in the United States. For her efforts, Parks was bestowed with the NAACP’s 1979 Spingarn Medal, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Congressional Gold Medal.

Kanye West Called Her A “Plant”
The disgraced rapper doesn’t seem to learn from the repercussions of his anti-semitic remarks. He is still trying to vent out his bizarre claims and conspiracy theories.
In his interview with the social audio app Clubhouse, the fashion mogul called civil rights activists like Parks, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King “plants.”
“All of these heroes man, it’s only one. That’s Jesus Christ. You’re gonna find out something about MLK, something about JFK, something about Malcolm, Rosa Parks. We know Rosa Parks was a plant,” Ye said.
He also said that outrage is an “economy, the trauma economy” and went on to blame the Jews again. “What death are we gonna promote this week? It ain’t like 14 people are getting killed every week in Chicago. But no, we’re going to publicize this on our– I’m not gonna say whose platform it is. It was the Jews.”
