Looks like things between JoJo Siwa and Candace Cameron Bure are not getting resolved any time soon! The two had a feud back in the day which they resolved amicably. However, this time the ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ judge is agitated at Candace’s take. Candace is the ultimate Christmas queen of television. She will be seen in ‘A Christmas…Present’ on Great American Family, a venture of Great American Media.
However, the actress will also be the programming and development head of the network. During an interview, the ‘Fuller House’ star clarified about the demographics the network will be representing. When asked about whether LGBTQIA+ relationships will be explored, she said that the channel will keep “traditional marriages” at the core. This infuriated JoJo, and she called her out on Instagram for not including the queer relationships. Unlike last time, there seems to be less chance of reconciliation between the two.

JoJo Siwa Will Use Her Voice And Platform
On November 20th, 2022, the YouTuber attended the final North America concert of Elton John at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. She was dressed for the occasion donning a red and orange ensemble. During the show, while talking to PEOPLE, she shared her discontent regarding the Candace Cameron Bruce situation.
During the interview, she talked about how significant it is for her to voice her opinions on the position she is in. Siwa said, “As I am getting older, I’m starting to realize what an impact I really do get to have. I think that’s a really cool position to be in”. The ‘Dance Moms’ alum came out as queer in 2021. She has been a strong advocate of LGBTQIA+ rights. JoJo Siwa said that she is “learning that I have a chance to use my voice, use my platform for something good, and to change the world for the better.”
When it comes to championing the rights of the queer community, she will not budge to be disruptive. On the red carpet, she said, “I am being honest and maybe being a little disruptive to somebody’s life, but it’s what I believe in. And so to have good people stand behind you with it felt really nice.” When Siwa called Candace out, many celebrities, including Candace’s co-star, supported her.

She Wants Candace To Say Yes To An Interview With GLAAD

On the red carpet, she said, “I am being honest and maybe being a little disruptive to somebody’s life, but it’s what I believe in. And so to have good people stand behind you with it felt really nice.”
When Siwa called Candace out, many celebrities, including Candace’s co-star, supported her.
However, she is not willing to talk to her “ever again”. Last time, when she recounted an encounter with Bure where she was rude to young JoJo, the two reconciled. This time, she says, “We have not [talked], and I don’t think we ever will again”.
Citing the reason she said, “That’s what’s f***ed up. You not liking gay marriage, do your thing girl. You being religious, do your thing girl. Of course, I would want everybody to do what they want to do. But to purposely exclude someone because of who they love, that’s sh***y.”
If not talking to her, Siwa recommends she talk to GLAAD, an organization that tracks the representation of the LGBTQIA+ community in the media. Earlier, the CEO of the organization, Sarah Kate Ellis asked Candace to have a conversation with her. JoJo said,
“I would want her to have a conversation with GLAAD. Because even though I am educated, GLAAD is such an incredible organization. Sarah is a genius when it comes to the gay community. And I think that Candace having a conversation with her would be not only eye-opening to Candace but eye-opening to a whole world of people who might have those same beliefs.”
