Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were seen together for the first time since the Oscars slap incident, which took place earlier this year. The actor had struck presenter Chris Rock on stage at the 94th Academy Awards for Jada.
The two were spotted publicly together for the first time since the incident when they went on a date to Nobu Malibu. They seemed to have a great time with each other.

Will Smith And Jada Pinkett Smith Make A Rare Public Appearance In Malibu
Will and Jada were captured on camera together in Malibu on a Saturday as they were seen hanging out together outside of a renowned restaurant.
When the Academy Award-winning actor’s wife was leaving Nobu in the afternoon after having lunch there, he appeared to be in a good mood and was observed with a broad smile on his face. Jada Pinkett wore a black top with a plaid shirt knotted around her waist, while Smith donned an all-navy blue ensemble and a baseball cap during the outing.
Since the incident at the Oscars, the pair has largely avoided the public eye, and in particular, they haven’t been seen hanging out together in public.
Will Apologizes To Chris Rock For Oscar Slap
Will Smith released a video in which he apologized for his actions at the Academy Awards and discussed whether or not he has spoken with Chris Rock about the event. The actor also addressed the question of whether or not they had reconciled.
“I will say to you Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk. I want to apologize to Chris‘ mother. I saw an interview that Chris‘ mother did… That was one of the things about that moment, I just didn’t realize and I wasn’t thinking about how many people got hurt at that moment,” he said.
Although Chris Rock has made jokes about the slap event that occurred at the Oscars during his stand-up comedy performances, the comedian has not issued a public remark addressing the incident.
