President Joe Biden Questions Why Hip-Hop Artists Endorse Donald Trump, Decodes His “Black Jobs” Perspective

Hip-hop artists have long been influential cultural figures, shaping music, fashion, and social discourse. However, their political affiliations can be surprising. President Joe Biden expressed skepticism about hip-hop artists who supported former President Donald Trump.

Additionally, he questioned why the artists would align themselves with a figure whose policies often clashed with the interests of minority communities.

President Joe Biden Expresses Skepticism About Hip-Hop Community’s Allegiance To Donald Trump

In a recent interview with Complex’s Speedy Morman, President Joe Biden discussed a wide range of issues, including former President Donald Trump’s support within the hip-hop community. When asked about Trump’s appeal to hip-hop artists citing Lil Wayne and Kodak Black, Biden expressed skepticism about their allegiance to him. 

He criticized Trump’s record in terms of African Americans and minorities, describing it as abysmal. Biden further commented on Trump’s comments about “Black jobs.” “He means menial labor. That’s what he thinks. You know, he thinks he’s going to sell golden shoes or sneakers,” he added. 

Moreover, he further emphasized that he considers Trump a real danger to the country and democracy. “Look what his objective is. It is totally anti-democratic. He says that he wants to be a dictator on day one. He means it,” Biden stated.

After talking about how Trump is a major threat to Democracy due to his statements regarding being a dictator he went on and bashed Trump even more. Additionally, he talked about Trump’s lack of empathy when it came to murder victims citing the Charlottesville protests where Trump responded to the death of a woman by claiming there were “good people on both sides.”

Speedy then asked him about what was the one thing that Trump did right to which he replied “I can’t think of a single thing.” Moreover, he continued calling Trump a dictator and accused him of encouraging people to the January 6 Riot. “He encouraged people to go up and riot. Police were killed. People were wounded. People were hurt. The place was smashed up,” he stated.

They were hanging… anyway, what did he do? He sat there in the dining room off of the Oval Office, watched it for three hours, didn’t say a damn thing, he further added. Additionally, he then called Trump xenophobic due to his wanting to stop a border deal.
