The US presidential race is approaching with full heat, and the drama doesn’t seem to end. Donald Trump just survived a second assassination attempt in Florida, and it’s likely to affect the polls.
Many celebrities are speaking about it but Tesla owner, Elon Musk, like always, has stirred the pot. His statement about the same has triggered the hashtag “Deport Elon Musk” trending on X. Here’s what the tech mogul said.
Elon Musk’s Post Sets X On Fire
The latest assassination attempt at Donald Trump was made on Monday, when the former US president and presidential candidate was playing golf at the West Palm Beach Club in Florida. Though he was not harmed this time, it naturally triggered a reaction thread on social media. Many Republican supporters shared their views on the incident.
SpaceX and Tesla CEO and owner Elon Musk also spoke about his take on the second assassination attempt, but it didn’t end up well for him.

The billionaire posted an extremely polarizing post, questioning why no one is trying to attack US president Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. “And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala“, Elon wrote in a post about the attack on Trump.
‘Deport Elon Musk’ Trends On X
The controversial post, which seems to be deleted now, triggered a wave of criticism among the fans. Many are demanding to deport Musk to South Africa, where he was born with a hashtag of the same.
“Who else here feels that Elon Musk should be stripped of his security clearance, and U.S. citizenship and then deported back to his home nation of South Africa,” a user wrote in a post.

#DeportElonMusk to where? Mars? He would have that planet built up so fast Earth mainstream media would be whining and complaining about inequality and fairness between Earth and Mars pic.twitter.com/aLiPzdkGmz

It's pretty cool that the owner of X allows #DeportElonMusk to trend. He believes in free speech, unlike the brainwashed leftists pic.twitter.com/WusR4hEDub

Interestingly, Musk tried to clarify that the post was a complete joke and was taken out of context.“Turns out that jokes are WAY less funny if people don’t know the context and the delivery is plain text,” he wrote.
“Well, one lesson I’ve learned is that just because I say something to a group and they laugh doesn’t mean it’s going to be all that hilarious as a post on X,” he said in a second post.
