The rumors were strong that Taylor Swift and Jason Kelce were secretly dating. The rumor mill started when Deuxmoi and other blind gossip sites believed that the two were together.
The Messenger said that the Kansas City Chiefs player and the singer have been spending time together. The outlet speculated, “Taylor and Travis have been quietly hanging out. She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago.”
Neither Travis Kelce nor Taylor Swift confirmed or denied the rumors. However, Travis’ brother and Philadelphia Eagles’ Jason Kelce have addressed the rumors by not commenting on them.
During an interview during the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason was asked about his brother’s romantic involvement with Taylor Swift. A source for Entertainment Tonight cleared the air about Kelce and Swift dating. The source confirmed that the two are not officially dating.
The dating rumors began after Travis Kelce wanted to give his number to Taylor Swift. During Jason’s ‘New Height’ podcast, Kelce narrated the failed attempt to give his number to Taylor. He said, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
Travis continued, “I received a bunch of [friendship bracelets] being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.” He was hurt that “she doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”
