Elon Musk had a mixed bag of a year in 2023, with the controversies and his businesses doing well. Musk’s social media venture Twitter, aka X, suffered a great loss with his erratic behavior on the microblogging site and slump in advertising revenue with advertisers leaving the platform. However, his electric vehicle business, Tesla, has shown some promise with the sales of the vehicle in 2023.
The most-awaited project of Elon Musk’s EV venture is Cybertruck. Though the launch of the Cybertrucks did not go as planned, the development has been looking up. The truck comes in three variants with different features, mileage, prices, and horsepower. The rollout of the vehicles was supposed to be in 2021, but consumers and motor enthusiasts will have the cyber truck running in 2024. Now, the police department has proposed the idea of having the punk-inspired truck as their official vehicle.
Elon Musk Agrees With Texas Police Department As They Propose Cybertrucks To Be Their Official Vehicles
After a two-year wait, Tesla Cybertruck enthusiasts got good news in December 2023. Elon Musk announced the rollout of the most-awaited truck, starting at $60,000. The delay had several reasons cited, including a shortage in manufacturing materials, and a leaked report cited the reasons for basic braking, handling, suspension, and other problems.
Now, Cybertruck is all set to be available for Tesla customers. The electric pickup truck was to be 19 feet long, have a six-foot bed, and seat six adults. While the customer base has shrunk to selected, affluent customers, there is a request from the US Police Department to make it their official vehicle.
Rosenberg Police Department’s X account posted a picture of Cybertruck, writing, “Spotted out in the wild. What do you think @elonmusk will the #Cybertruck make a good police vehicle? It’s still hard to find new vehicles to replenish our older police units. Should we make the change in 2024?”

The Billionaire Slammed Media Over False Tesla Robot Reports Attacking An Engineer
A report from 2021 about a Tesla robot attacking a software engineer, which caused a laceration to his left hand, has emerged. The Information has brought the incident to light.
A software engineer was given the responsibility to maintain the robots used to cut parts from metal pieces. The engineer was fixing two non-functional robots when a third operational one came with its metal claws and attacked him. Fortunately, no major injury was caused.
Correct.
Truly shameful of the media to dredge up an injury from two years ago due to a simple industrial Kuka robot arm (found in all factories) and imply that it is due to Optimus now.

When a user shared a screenshot of the headline from The Daily Mail article, insinuating a violent malfunction in the Tesla robot led to an attack, Elon Musk tweeted, slamming the media.
The Tesla owner wrote, “Truly shameful of the media to dredge up an injury from two years ago due to a simple industrial Kuka robot arm (found in factories) and imply that it is due to Optimus now.”
