Elon Musk is making efforts toward making Twitter, now X, competition-ready. The platform’s performance has been underwhelming since Elon Musk took over. The billionaire has been facing many obstacles, including plummeting revenue due to reduced advertising revenue. To increase revenue, he introduced and reintroduced the $8 monthly subscription fee.
When Elon Musk launched Twitter Blue, he discriminated against Tim Cook’s Apple. For the other application users, Musk charged $7.99 per month. However, he hiked the charges to $12 per month for iOS users. At the same time, he speculated that the company may take Twitter off the Apple store. He accused Cook of accruing additional taxes. Recently, the ex-CEO of Twitter has once again surfaced tax concerns.
