Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Silence About The Racism Row Is Deafening
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came to the US in 2020, they sat down for the infamous Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021. During the interview, Meghan Markle revealed that there were members of the royal family who were concerned about Archie’s skin color.
Now, in the new book by Omid Scobie titled ‘Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival’, there was mention of the names in many of the Dutch copies. During Piers Morgan’s show, he revealed that King Charles III and Kate Middleton were concerned about Archie’s skin color.
Now, the palace is awaiting the response from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, keeping all options open. A source closer to the couple told The Telegraph that they should defend their family. The source said, “For the couple that talked about ‘death by a thousand no comments,’ the silence at this point is deafening.”

Kate Middleton Played An Important Role In Forming The Statement After The Couple Alleged About Racism
The Oprah Winfrey interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle created quite a stir. After the interview, where Meghan said that there were members of the royal family who were concerned with Archie’s skin color, the Palace released a statement.
In the statement, the Palace stated, “The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”
A source told Valentine Low for her book ‘Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind The Crown’ that Kate Middleton was behind formulating the statement. The source told Valentine, “The debate was, do you rise entirely above it and offer the olive branch of [Harry and Meghan being] ‘much-loved members of the family’? Or is there some moment when you have to intervene and offer a view?”
Both Kate Middleton and Prince William wanted to toughen up the statement. According to the source, Kate claimed, “ ‘History will judge this statement, and unless this phrase or a phrase like it is included, everything that they have said will be taken as true.’ ”
