King Charles will officially become the king of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms after his coronation. The event, which is slated to take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey, will be different from the previous coronations in the history of the British monarchy.
Several high-profile celebrities are expected to attend and perform at the ceremony. This mostly includes singers and actors. Now, recent media reports are suggesting that superstar Tom Cruise will also be in attendance. So let us find out more details about this latest update.

Tom Cruise To Attend King Charles’ Coronation
Tom Cruise will be at the coronation concert that will take place a day after King Charles’ coronation. According to a Variety report, Nicole Scherzinger (the face of Pussycat Dolls) and Winnie the Pooh will be also attending the concert.
All these names have earlier also appeared in royal events. In 1997, the ‘Top Gun: Maverick‘ actor was a guest at the funeral of the late Princess Diana. Last year, Nicole took part in the Platinum Jubilee pageant in honor of Queen Elizabeth II.
Pooh also took part in 2006 at a children’s garden party to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 80th anniversary. Both Cruise and Pooh will appear alongside Joan Collins, Tom Jones, dancer Oti Mabuse, and Bear Grylls. All of them will do several pre-recorded VTs where they will talk about the lesser-known facts about Charles.

The proceedings of the event, which will be produced by BBC studios, will be hosted by Hugh Bonneville. “To share the stage with the other performers at The Coronation Concert is a once-in-a-lifetime event and it will be an honor and a celebration,” Richie said about his performance.
