“It Was Like Being In A Jeffrey Epstein Documentary”: YouTuber Shallon Lester Accuses Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Of Losing Business After Netflix’s ‘Harry & Meghan’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s narrative of victimhood is costing them! The couple is trying to create their niche in content-making by chronicling their stories of hardship while being a part of the royal family. They stepped back from their royal duties and shifted their bases to the USA. Since they made their move to the US, a section of the public has criticized their content. It also strained their relationship with the royal family.

It all started with the Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle told the stories of their struggles. They made some serious accusations, including one of racism. Recently, in 2022, they released their first project for their $100 million Netflix deal, titled ‘Harry & Meghan.’ The six-part docuseries intimately looked at their lives, along with explosive confessions about the royal family. They used many montages, and one of the clips was that of Shallon Lester, who has now taken offense.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle not only offended the royal family, but their documentary’s impact reverberated outside the family. In ‘Harry & Meghan,’ the couple used a collage of clips to make a montage about the online hatred that is being meted out to them. In the montage, they used YouTuber Shallon Lester’s video as well, which irked the celebrity.

During an interview with The Post, she talked about how her friends told her about the clip in ‘Harry & Meghan.’ She said, “At first I thought they were hallucinating because why on earth would I be in it? Especially since I wasn’t called for comment. No one reached out to my team. Nothing.” The YouTuber was “blown away” by the accusations about the smear campaign.

Shallon Lester added, “My first text was to my mother. My second was to my lawyer. I assumed when I heard I was in this it was going to be ‘a bunch of people who were mean to us on the internet.’ Yes, I am mean to them on the internet. That’s my right. It’s an opinion channel.”

Shallon Lester said that she watched the docuseries with a man she was dating at the time. She likened the experience to him “taking in a Jeffrey Epstein documentary and seeing his face flash across the screen.” Lester claims, “Their story didn’t make sense. They couldn’t provide one shred of evidence. If I am influencing millions of people, where?”

Leston continued, “Show me. Is there a DM? A portion in one of my videos? An email blast? It doesn’t exist because it didn’t happen. We live in the age of receipts. Nothing anyone does is without a footprint. But they can’t find one.”

The journalist or YouTuber does not think that the couple is qualified to “dismantle” a subject like misinformation. She added, “I find it hilarious that they flat out say they are qualified to tackle the thorny topic of misinformation. But they are the number-one purveyors of it. They are qualified to distribute it. But are they qualified to dismantle it? No.”
