Prince Harry created headlines earlier this year after releasing a tell-all memoir ‘Spare.’ In it, he dropped several bombshells about his life and the British royal family. Since then, a lot has been going on in his and his wife Meghan Markle‘s life. Now, it seems that there is a question mark on Harry’s American visa.
In his book, the Duke of Sussex admitted that he used a variety of drugs in the past. Now, this might get his visa canceled. Lawyers talk about whether Harry will be allowed to live in the country or not. So let’s find out in detail about this entire situation and what the lawyers said.

Prince Harry’s Visa Might Get Revoked Because Of His Drug Use
Prince Harry has been on a tell-all spree since he, along with his wife Meghan Markle, stepped down from their royal duties in 2020. However, one of the things he has said in his memoir might backfire.
According to Page Six, the Duke of Sussex might not be able to live in the US for admitting to using several drugs in the past. Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani explains, “an admission of drug use is usually grounds for inadmissibility.”
Rahmani further said: “That means Prince Harry’s visa should have been denied or revoked because he admitted to using cocaine, mushrooms and other drugs.” The lawyer also said that there is “no exception for royalty or recreational use.”

Harry Wrote About His Drug Use In ‘Spare’
In his best-selling memoir, Harry wrote extensively about his drug use. He said that in his teens, he “drank heavily,” consumed cocaine, smoked, and also experimented with psychedelics when he was an adult.
He considered them a “fundamental” part of his life. “I started doing it recreationally and then started to realize how good it was for me,” he wrote. However, the prince might not really be in trouble.
Attorney James Leonard said that Harry is not a “habitual drug user” and that’s why he does not “see any issue with the disclosures in his memoir regarding recreational experimentation with drugs.”
