The ‘Suits‘ actress Meghan Markle retired from acting back in 2018 after she married Prince Harry. The couple over the years have caused much hue and cry regarding multiple issues which has annoyed both the Royal family and the public. Amidst the rising tensions, it is rumored that Markle is returning to Hollywood with a film once rejected by Princess Diana.
Since Meghan and Harry stepped down from royal duties, things have not been smooth for the couple. They have faced backlash and financial troubles in many of the ventures that the couple undertook. It is still doubtful if Markle would be able to make a firm footing in Hollywood with her deteriorating popularity.
Meghan Markle To Play A Role Offered To Princess Diana
After an inconsistent podcast show, ‘The Candidate’ actress Meghan Markle is back again to the field of acting. The latest updates say that the actress is to star in the lead role in the sequel of the movie ‘The Bodyguard’. The 1992 movie had been a hit. It originally had Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner in the lead roles.
More surprising is the fact that Kevin Costner had Princess Diana in his mind for the leading role in ‘The Bodyguard 2′. Costner recalls how the Princess had enquired if there would be a kissing scene which she wasn’t comfortable with. “Yeah, there’s going to be a little bit of kissing, but we can make that work, too,” Costner had shared with Princess Diana.
But unfortunately, the movie never took off. And Prince Harry’s mother passed away in 1997. Markle’s fans are all excited to see the actress back on the screen.

Will Meghan Markle Find Her Place In Hollywood Again?
Even though there are exciting talks of Meghan Markle’s return to acting, she still seems to be struggling. At the end of April, it was announced that the actress signed with William Morris Endeavors (WME). But it is noted that the actress took about three months to pull a movie deal.
Experts have noted that the Duchess of Sussex may be finding it difficult to get back to Hollywood. Spotify has cut deals with the royal couple after one season of their podcast. But the retired royals still have their partnership with Netflix.
