Prince Harry Draws Parallels Between Princess Diana And Meghan Markle
The first three episodes of Netflix’s documentary on the lives of Harry and Meghan titled ‘Harry & Meghan‘ has been released. It includes several tell-all bits from both individuals.
Talking about the negative media attention the couple received, Harry drew parallels between his late mother Princess Diana, and Meghan. “My mum was harrassed throughout her life with dad,” he said.
He said that after his parents separated, “the harassment went to new levels.” “The moment she divorced, the moment she left the Institution, she was by herself. Yes, she may have been one of the most influential, powerful women in the world, but she was… completely exposed to this,” Harry said.

Harry Said He Was Terrified For Meghan
The Duke of Sussex talked about all the negative media attention directed towards him and Meghan that ultimately forced them to step down from their Royal duties.
After meeting Meghan, Harry said he was “terrified of her being driven away by the media, the same media that had driven so many people away from me.”
He also recalled that just a week after their relationship became public, “the first news story was “Harry’s new girl (almost) straight outta Compton.” The Palace had instructed the couple to not react or give any statements to the media. When being told about every princess receiving media scrutiny from the Royals, Harry said that the (in Meghan’s case) “difference here is the race element.”
