Prince Harry’s Halloween Party Line To Meghan Markle Made Simon Brodkin Like Prince Andrew Better
In 2022, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle starred in a six-part docuseries that revealed the intimate details of the royal family titled ‘Harry & Meghan’. In one of the episodes, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle talked about a Halloween party, where they dressed up and thought that it was their only chance to have fun in public.
Prince Harry said, “We went to this Halloween party together where we could be completely dressed up and no one would know. I had a bandana and goggles.” Meghan Markle added, “You borrowed a great costume. And we were like ‘well this might be our last shot to just go out and have fun out in the world.’” Harry summed it up, saying, “Pull the pin on the fun grenade, which we did.”
Comedian Simon Brodkin talked about the Halloween date in his recent stand-up show, where he admitted that the line made him like Prince Andrew more. Brodkin said, “I started off, I wanted to like them. They were making interesting points about racism and misogyny, but then they started calling each other H and M and I just thought, ‘Oh do f**k off.’”
Simon added, “Honestly, by the time Harry was describing a particular date with Meghan as the night they, quote, ‘pulled the pin on a fun grenade,’ I actually started rooting for Prince Andrew.”

Prince Andrew Did Not Intentionally Hurt Royal Family’s Image Unlike The Couple
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have created a rift between them and the family. The couple has tainted the royal family’s image and made reconciliation difficult due to their frequent public stunts. While the couple deliberately hurt the image of the royal family, Andrew’s case was a mistake, as per his friend, for which the Duke of York has faced punishment.
One of Prince Andrew’s friends talked to The Daily Beast. He said, “If you were Charles, would you rather have a problem that looks like Harry and Meghan or a problem that looks like Andrew? Andrew has taken his punishment, withdrawn from public life, and done whatever has been asked of him. He knows he has damaged the monarchy. So have Harry and Meghan.”
The friend continued, “The difference is [Andrew] deeply regrets it and it was not intentional, whereas Harry and Meghan deliberately set out to cause as much damage to Charles and Camilla as they could to sell books and TV shows. That’s an entirely different matter.”
