The couple released a six-part docuseries, highlighting the ill-treatment meted out by the royal family. They wanted to create a kids’ show titled ‘Pearl,’ but the streaming giant canceled the show. Spotify was also reportedly unhappy with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after they churned out only one series of ‘Archetypes’ podcasts. Now, it is reported that the couple’s lack of professionalism and direction is forcing these platforms to cancel their deals.

In a new move, Spotify and Archewell Audio decided to amicably part ways after almost three years. Meghan Markle launched her podcast ‘Archetypes,’ which, in its first series, covered the stereotypes that society perpetuates for women working in various fields. In their statement, the two entities said, “Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together.”
As per The Wall Street Journal, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing a crisis due to their “inexperience as producers.” The couple is facing many deterrents along the way creating content that goes beyond the salacious royal family and personal stories.
The sources closer to Netflix and Spotify said that the streaming giants “have been underwhelmed by the lack of productivity of the Sussexes.” The employees at Archewell have also chimed in to say that the company is lacking direction as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “at times seem surprised by the work required to finish entertainment projects.”

Netflix Has Reportedly Withheld $50 Million From Their $100 Million Deal
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed a $100 million deal with the streaming giant, Netflix. Till now, the couple has released only two docuseries projects, including ‘Harry & Meghan.’ Currently, Harry and Meghan are creating a TV show based on a Charles Dickens character from ‘Great Expectations.’
As per a source to The Sun, Netflix is withholding $50 million for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to churn out more content. The source said, “There’s no question of a headline-grabbing, public parting of the way. Netflix was pleased to sign Harry and Meghan and is looking for some great ideas going forward.”
It continued, “But the remainder of the deal relies on them producing those good ideas. The deal’s continually under review which is normal for ones of this magnitude.”
