Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have done more damage than good with their confessions across different mediums. In 2020, the couple stepped back from royal duties to lead a peaceful and private life away from the royal family. However, since they migrated to the US, Harry and Meghan have been on a spree to malign the image of the family in public.
Prince Harry has shed light on many private things that, after confessing, were not, after all, appropriate for the public. In his bombshell memoir, ‘Spare,’ the Duke of Sussex talked about his sexual encounters and activities, including his confession of watching Meghan’s steamy scenes in ‘Suits.’ However, Harry’s confession about his drug addiction and consumption may have put him in hot water with the legal authorities. Due to this, his US visa might be in jeopardy.

A Conservative Think Tank Has Sued Department Of Homeland Security For Not Disclosing Prince Harry’s Visa Application
Prince Harry has mentioned many instances of his drug consumption in his controversial memoir, ‘Spare.’ In the book, he says that he used drugs to transfer himself to a world that “was just as real and twice as beautiful.” Harry has confessed to consuming hard drugs like powder and mushrooms during his trips to the USA.
After leaving the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle migrated to the USA in 2020. However, Prince Harry is not a citizen of the USA. He could have lived on a spousal visa, but he is granted a special visa called an O-1 visa. In the US, the visa applicant must mention floating drug laws. If one confesses to it, it becomes difficult to attain a visa.
The Heritage Foundation, a think tank, utilized this loophole, and they have filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security. They have sued DHS for not disclosing Harry’s visa application after those drug consumption revelations.
The company, in its filing, said, “The media coverage has surfaced the question of whether DHS’s decision to admit the Duke of Sussex into the United States should be reconsidered in light of the Duke of Sussex’s most recent admissions to the essential elements of numerous drug offenses both here and abroad in his 2023 memoir, Spare.”

The Heritage Foundation filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to gain access to Prince Harry’s visa application. But the federal body, DHS, denied the request on the grounds of protecting his privacy. The think tank also applied to find the Duke of Sussex’s A-File with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service [USCIS].

Nile Gardiner, director of the Margaret Thatcher Centre for Freedom at the think tank, tweeted about the DC court hearing. He told The Telegraph that the case “significantly raises the stake. I think so far the Biden administration has been stonewalling freedom.”
