The Prince believes that the British tabloids have contributed to the breakdown of his relationship with the royal family. He has moved to the US with his wife Meghan Markle. Prince Harry talked about it in an interview clip from the upcoming documentary ‘Tabloids on Trial’. The documentary is set to air soon on ITV1 and ITVX.

Prince Harry On Why He Feels The British Tabloids Ruined His Family
The British Royal family faced a lot of internal problems between the rest of the family and Prince Harry and his wife. The troubles even lead to Harry moving to the US. He has had trouble with the paparazzi many times. So now, he opens up on why he blames the tabloids for the break-up of his family.
Prince Harry talked about it in an interview clip for the upcoming documentary ‘Tabloids on Trial’. “It’s certainly a central piece to it,” Harry said. “That’s a hard question to answer because anything I say about my family results in a torrent of abuse from the press.” The Duke of Sussex continued, “I’ve made it very clear that this is something that needs to be done. It would be nice if we did it as a family.”
He added, “I believe that, again, from a service standpoint and when you’re in a public role that these are the things we should be doing for the greater good. But I’m doing this for my reasons.” Prince Harry continued to say, “For me, the mission continues. But it has, yes. It’s caused, as you say, part of a rift.”

Prince Harry vs The British Tabloids
The Duke of Sussex is currently in a legal battle with Rupert Murdoch’s U.K. newspaper arm, News Group Newspapers, and the publisher of the Daily Mail in two separate lawsuits. He even blames the tabloids for his mother Princess Diana’s death.
Prince Harry is suing the two news agencies alleging unlawful activities by journalists and private investigators over several years. He is on a “mission” to purge executives and editors whom he accuses of spreading lies and intruding into people’s lives. Prince Harry also blames the tabloids for his exit from royal work. His wife, Meghan Markle faced a lot of hostility from the tabloids which played a part in their decision to quit royal duties and move to California in March 2020.
