Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are two names that never go out of headlines. The couple did not share a good relationship with the royal family members and decided to step down from their positions back in 2020. They now live in the United States.
Meghan was blamed for taking Harry away from his family. But Harry’s 2017 interview has now disclosed that he wanted to come out of royal life a long time ago.
Prince Harry “Wanted Out” Of Royal Before Meghan Markle Drama
In an interview with author Angela Levin in 2017, Prince Harry said that he wanted to leave the royal life. Harry was questioned regarding his wish to live a normal life like others and he replied by saying that he spent a lot of years thinking that he never wanted to grow up.
Harry explained further and stated, “I felt I wanted out but then decided to stay in and work out a role for myself.” He added that he was ready to live a normal life and would like to become a father in the future. He mentioned the experience he had while walking with his brother Prince William behind the coffin during the funeral of Princess Diana.
Harry further said that no child should be allowed to do such things. Levin stated that Harry was a wounded prince but not a clown prince.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Have Left Royal Life Behind
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as royal members of the family in 2020. They also shared a statement at the time, saying that they would do everything they can for becoming financially independent.
However, they have been in the spotlight after the release of a series titled ‘Harry & Meghan’ on Netflix followed by Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ which was involved in a lot of controversies. Harry and Markle exchanged vows in 2018 after two years of dating.
