Big Stars Will Be Performing At King Charles’ Coronation
A day after the coronation ceremony, on May 7, a celebration concert will take place in London. According to The Hollywood Reporter, several celebrities will be flying to the UK to perform at the event in Windsor Castle.
Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and the English band Take That will be the first set of performers. Opera singers Andrea Bocelli and Bryn Terfel as well as classical-soul composer Alexis Ffrench will also perform at the event.
The artists will be performing in front of Charles, the Queen Consort Camilla, and nearly 20 thousand people. The concert will be produced and broadcast by the BBC. On Friday, Richie said: “To share the stage with the other performers at The Coronation Concert is a once-in-a-lifetime event and it will be an honor and a celebration.”

Prince Harry Will Be Attending The Event Without Meghan Markle
Recently, Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Harry will be attending the event. “Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the coronation service at Westminster Abbey on May 6,” the statement read.
They confirmed that Meghan Markle won’t be joining: “The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.” There are speculations that Meghan decided to skip the event as her children were not invited.
A source stated that Charles is “very disappointed that he won’t see Meghan or his grandchildren but understands the situation.” The coronation date coincides with the fourth birthday of Prince Archie.
