After much speculation, the couple’s spokesperson made an official announcement that the two are invited to the royal ceremony. However, new reports suggest that Charles’ grandchildren may not be invited to the coronation.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Children Are “Very Young” To Attend The Coronation Ceremony
The Royal Family is in constant flux due to the constant drama that unearths in the lives of its members. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been major contributors to the drama. Recently, Charles made Harry and Markle vacate their UK abode, the Frogmore Cottage. After a few days, the spokesperson of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed that they got an invitation from the palace for the coronation.
The spokesperson said, “I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation. An immediate decision on whether The Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time.”
It is now reported that their children— Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor are not invited to the royal ceremony. According to The Telegraph, the children are not yet invited to the ceremony, because the two are “very young”. Recently, the official British family site updated Archie and Lilibet’s titles as Prince and Princess, respectively.

The Couple Flouts Royal Traditions During Lilibet’s Christening Ceremony
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle baptized their daughter, Lilibet, in an intimate ceremony. Rev. John Taylor, the Archbishop of Los Angeles baptized their daughter. During the ceremony, Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, and Lilibet’s godfather, Tyler Perry were present along with other guests. The couple wanted to hold the ceremony at Windsor, but they decided to have her baptized in Los Angeles.
However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle flouted the royal baptism traditions. When a newborn is to be baptized, he/should be baptized at the Church of England. Since 1841, there is a Honiton laced christening gown that the newborns have been wearing. During Lilibet’s baptism, it is reported that she wore casual clothes.
She was not baptized with the water from River Jordan, which has been used since time immemorial. In normal circumstances, a Royal newborn gets baptized within six months of the birth. But, Lilibet got christened when she turned 21 months. The ceremony took place sans any member of the Royal Family.
