Plot, Cast, And Release Date Of The ‘Yellowstone’ Prequel
A prequel to the popular television show ‘Yellowstone‘ was announced a while ago. Now, the show, titled ‘1923‘ has got a premiere date.
Created by Taylor Sheridon and starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, ‘1923‘ will premiere on December 18 on Paramount Network. It will fill the backstory of the central Dutton family.
Ford will portray Jacob Dutton and Mirren will play Cara Dutton in the series, which explores a time when “pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the Mountain West, and the Duttons who call it home.” The show will also touch upon western expansion and the Great Depression.
Sebastian Roché, Darren Mann, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, and Brandon Sklenar among others will appear in supporting roles.

Harrison Ford Joins ‘Captain America 4’
Apart from featuring in ‘1923’, the 80-year-old actor has also joined the cast of Captain America: New World Order,’ making it his first collaboration with Marvel.
He will take on the role of General Ross, which was previously played by late actor William Hurt. The film, which will star Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, will be directed by Julius Onah. It will take place after the events of the Marvel Disney+ series ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.’
Apart from the fourth Captain America film, Ford will also play Ross in ‘Thunderbolts’, a film about the titular team of supervillains.
He is also set to return as Indian Jones in the untitled fifth installment which is slated to release on June 30, 2023.
