Why Larry Kripke Was Mentioned In ‘The Boys’ Season 4’s Post Credit Scene?
A flashcard titled ‘For Larry Kripke’ was shown during the post-credit scenes of ‘The Boys’ season 4 with other cast members. The season premiered on 18 July and its last episode was premiered this Thursday.
Larry Kripke is the father of showrunner Eric Kripke. It’s still unclear why Eric paid tribute to him but it could be because his father died on 13 February 2024 due to Parkinson’s disease.
‘The Boys’ season 4 came with a lot of expectations which it fulfilled. This season did live up to the expectations but the response was not overwhelming and fans aren’t disappointed either. Season 4 has left a lot of room for the 5th and the last season.

Who Was Larry Kripke?
Larry Kripke, the father of Eric Kripke was the founder of the aluminum brokerage firm Kripke Enterprise Inc., in Toledo, Ohio. Larry has worked in the industry for nearly all his life, which originally began in the recycled metal industry in 1960 at Sherwin Metals, where Eric and his siblings had their childhood.
Larry attended the University Of Michigan Business School in 1965 and later came back to help with his family business. Kripke worked hard in his business and company KEI flourished. His elder brother Matt Kripke is the current CEO of the company.
He died fighting Parkinson’s disease in February this year at the age of 80. Due to his recent death, his son Eric Kripke who is a writer and television producer decided to pay him a tribute in the recent episode of his show ‘The Boys’.
