Unfortunately, there is bad news for fans of ‘Walker’ since the CW show has been canceled. The news is official and it is here. After Deadline reported the sets were being broken down, suspicion had crept into fans’ hearts already. But now CW has made it official.
So today we will take a look at why the network decided to end the Jared Padalecki-starrer series. Padalecki also shared the heartbreaking update on social media. ‘Walker’ started airing in 2021 and aired for four seasons before its cancelation.
Why Did CW Cancel ‘Walker’?
‘Walker’ was one of just four original CW shows to be picked back up in May 2023. The series has made quite a name for itself and has averaged over one million total viewers. ‘Walker’ was easily the No. 1 in total audience out of the eight dramas on The CW. As a result, fans are very sad.
“We want to thank the entire cast, crew, writers, directors and producers of Walker for their hard work and dedication over four incredible seasons,” the CW shared in a statement of its own. “We also want to give a special thanks to star and executive producer Jared Padalecki, who has been a member of The CW family for over 20 years and was integral to some of the biggest hits on the network.”

After four seasons together, we have felt the love and support from the entire #WalkerFamily, and we will be forever grateful.”
