Now, AppleTV+ has taken on the mammoth task of backing Steven Spielberg’s World War II drama ‘Masters of the Air’, which has a prolific cast that includes Barry Keoghan, Austin Butler, and Callum Turner.
Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks joined hands to produce ‘Masters of the Air’. The two collaborated again with Gary Goetzman, who was also associated with the Emmy-winning World War II drama titled ‘Bands of Brothers’. The series centers on the airmen, who forge a brotherhood throughout the war.

Everything To Know About ‘Masters Of The Air’
Based on Donald L. Miller’s book of the same moniker, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg joined forces to produce the World War II drama ‘Masters of the Air’. The story is about the valor of the Eighth American Air Force’s young men who helped Europe liberate itself from the shackles of the Nazis.
‘Masters of the Air’ has an impressive cast comprising of stars like Barry Keoghan, Austin Butler, Ncuti Gatwa, Callum Turner, Louis Hoffman, and others. It will portray the brotherhood that the battalion forged while defeating the Nazis. It will premiere its first two episodes on January 26, 2024, and each week it will release one episode until March 15, 2024.

Austin Butler Expresses Desire To Learn Flying
Tom Hanks and Austin Butler will reunite again for ‘Masters of the Air’ after Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Elvis’. Austin will be seen playing Major Gale Cleven, one of the original members of the 100th Bomb Group who was given the command of the 350th Bomb Squadron in 1942.
During the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Masters of the Air’, Austin Butler talked about one of his dreams to People. He said that he would love to learn to fly someday. The actor said, “I’m rusty now but I feel like I could.”
Austin Butler also talked about working again with his ‘Elvis’ co-star, Tom Hanks. Butler added, “It’s a pleasure working with Tom, whether he’s in front of the camera or behind. Tom approaches everything with such care and kindness and he does so much research and is just constantly reading about this period.”
