Lex Scott Davis From ‘The First Purge’ To Take On The Lead Role In ‘Suits: LA’
The hunt for the leading lady of NBC’s anticipated legal drama, ‘Suits: LA’ has come to an end as the production team has declared that Lex Scott Davis would be taking on the role. Set to join Stephen Amell and Josh McDermitt as her costars, Davis is gearing up for her role as Erica Rollins in the pilot.
The show is scheduled to commence production in late March in Vancouver. In this legal venture that will explore the world of entertainment law, Davis’s character would play the character with a combination of savvy intellect and strong-willed determination. As a rising star in the law firm led by Amell’s character Ted Black, Erica will take on the role of courageous woman, adept at testing the loyalties of her associates.
Lex Scott Davis is acclaimed for her role in ‘The First Purge‘ and recent appearances in ‘The Florida Man‘ on Netflix. Accompanying her would be Amell, known for his portrayal of Green Arrow in ‘Arrow’, and McDermitt recognized for his role in ‘The Walking Dead’.

How Important Is Lax Scott Davis’s Role For The Show’s Narrative
While the show would have Ted Black’s character at the center of its narrative, it is unclear what role Davis’s character would assume in his story. However, being the lead character, it is speculated that her character arc would play an important role in the show’s narrative. It is also unclear whether she her character would be romantically linked with any of the leads.
‘Suits: LA‘ is not a mere reboot or revival of the original ‘Suits’. It will distinguish itself with a changed narrative that would orbit around Ted Black, played by Stephen by Amell. His character is shown to be a former federal prosecutor from New York, who starts his own firm and navigates a new life representing influential clients in Los Angeles.
He co-finds the Black Lane Law firm, with Stuart Lane played by McDermitt. Both these leads specialize in criminal and entertainment law. As he finds himself amid law professionals, the loyalties and boundaries blur among themselves.
The narrative gets further intense as events from the past resurface, giving a sneak peak into Ted’s darker parts of life. ‘Suits: LA‘ is the brainchild of Aaron Korsh, the original series creator, who also serves as an Executive Producer alongside David Bartis, Doug Liman, and Gene Klein.
