Lily-Rose Depp has been defending her portrayal of the pop star and admitted that she felt therapeutic playing the character. The season finale changed the entire dynamic between Tedros and Jocelyn.
Tedros comes to know that Jocelyn was all along dominating him and playing with him on the contrary. As per Deadline, Lily talked about the final episode. She said, “I think a lot of the audience will watch maybe the first few episodes and think that this guy is taking advantage of her. By the end, he realizes that she knows exactly what he’s doing, and she knows exactly what she’s doing.”

In the interview, she talked about the traits of Jocelyn that were well-kept secrets until the final episode. She says, “Jocelyn is a very calculated and strategic person. She knows exactly what she wants, and she’ll stop at nothing to get it. Tedros was her muse, and she got what she needed out of him.”
Sam Levinson, the creator of the show, also weighed in on how Jocelyn was all along looking for inspiration, and Tedros becomes that. He says, “Throughout the season, Jocelyn has been searching for inspiration. She’s looking to go to an uncomfortable place, and it’s just ultimately looking for that next song, that next album. Tedros becomes the conduit for that creative unlocking.” Sam confessed that Tedros had been the victim all this time.
