The Roys and their rag-tag board members head to Norway to bring home the proverbial bacon on ‘Succession’. With Gojo deal now more precarious than ever, it is time to stop with the mind games. This psychological warfare would never work on Logan, but with him gone, it’s time for Kendall and Roman to make their mark.
As everyone gears up for the battle, the threat of a kill list looms over their head. For some, this trip is a swansong. Some will stay, but getting a read on the impenetrable Swedes takes a lot of work. With only a limited number of corporate parachutes left, the age-old game of corporate suck-up begins.

Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård) is an odd one. But more on that later. He asks the Roys to fly to Norway in an ultimate power move. Why is it not Sweden? Yeah, we wonder too. But for now, Lukas’ annual retreat is in an expensive icy winterland of Norway. The impressive Swedes do their best to haze the Americans, with cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun) catching some of the debris until Kendall (Jeremy Strong) shuts Lukas down.
The idea is to make the existing deal happen until Lukas throws another curveball – he wants to absorb ATN. Kendall is on board, but Roman (Kieran Culkin) doesn’t want to sell the house his father built. While Kendall circles to sabotage the deal, Lukas tells Siobhan (Sarah Snook) in confidence about the potential harassment he’s trying to avoid. We’ll spare you the details, but Lukas now takes the crown as the most creepy character on the show.
In their next meeting, Lukas begins to express doubts as the intimate details of their meetings reach the media. Roman finally cracks at Lukas for being indignant. He calls him out for being disrespectful and not giving them enough time to grieve their father. He’s unfazed by Lukas walking away. On their way back, they receive a better and improved offer from Mattson. The deal is done. But then comes the kill list.

‘Succession’ Season 4: Is Siobhan Betraying Her Brothers?
Frustrated with the brothers, Mattson takes the sister into his confidence. They meet off the record, where Lukas Matsson gives a word-to-word and shocking narration of his sexual deviance. He’s not a zen tech genius but a sickly, frightened puppy who desperately wants the deal to happen. Siobhan seems to form an attraction to him and can agree to be his mole moving forward.
With the good comes the bad. After receiving the thumbs up on the deal, boom went the dynamite! The kill list arrives to dampen the spirit. Only Tom (Tom Wambsgans), Gerri (J. Smith-Cameron), and Karolina (Dagmara Dominczyk) make the final cut. You can’t help but root for Gerri, who was almost fired until Logan’s death. She’s been bossed around by not one but two Roys. But this is her moment.
