Fans are eagerly waiting for the latest season of ‘Euphoria’ and though the wait is getting excruciatingly long, it seems to be the case for the actors as well. Sydney Sweeney, for one, had to cancel various projects, as she admits now, due to the the show’s schedule.
The final season of the HBO show is set to release soon and fans are excited over the show’s ending and what twists it will bring to the plot. Here’s what Sweeney revealed about the show’s final season.
Sydney Sweeney Opens Up About Filming ‘Euphoria’
Sydney Sweeney is making sure to let the word out that her busy schedule had nothing to do with the delay in the release of the next season of ‘Euphoria‘. The actress talked about how the show’s delay resulted in her having to pass on a few projects but how she finally put her foot down and started working on her own projects.
“There were definitely a few projects that I had to pass on because I was supposed to be going back to Euphoria,” she told Vanity Fair. “But because I am producing now, I was able to say, ‘You know what? I don’t think this is happening. I’m going to put some of my own projects on the slate.’ That’s how Anyone But You happened,” she added.

“Cassie is such a deep, meaningful character for me. I think that, through her, I’ll be able to also grieve in a way as well. Cassie is the longest character I’ve ever had in my life. I feel like she’ll always have such a special place in my heart, so I know that I’ll be able to just jump right in,” the actress said.
The final season of the show is currently set to release in 2025. The original plan was for the new season to premiere in 2024. However, the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes caused a delay in the filming process.
