Both superhero suits have been designed by Laura Jean Shannon, the costume designer of the show. She has also styled Jensen Ackles’ fan-favorite Soldier Boy look.
We will have to wait for the details as the studio has said the characters “will be kept under wraps until the season airs.” Season four is currently under production in Toronto, Canada.
Erin Moriarty Slams Misogynistic Fans Who Hate Starlight
Moriarty’s performance as Annie January/Starlight has been well-received by everyone. However, there is a section of people who hate her for some reason.
Last month, the actress took to social media to slam the misogynistic rabid fans of the show who target her by reposting a fan article titled ‘#IStandWithStarlight?: The Betrayal of Erin Moriarty by The Boys Fans.’
“The harassment feels all the worse given the context of her role as Starlight on the show, a woman silenced and sexualized, treated like a celebrity canvas for others to project onto rather than a human being with her own thoughts and feelings,” the article said.
Moriarty responded, “I do feel paralyzed. I’ve put blood, sweat and tears into this role (over & over & over again), I’ve grown UP in this character’s shoes (*emphasis on grown up — we change & evolve mentally AND physically)”.
