‘Yellowjackets’ Season 2: What Happened To Lottie?
During the first season, we learn through flashbacks that Lottie Matthews takes over as the leader of the group. She takes medication to curb her state of paranoia. But soon, her schizophrenia worsens, making her believe in the existence of things that aren’t there. Soon, she takes these to be prophetic visions, resulting in cannibalistic sacrifices.
After all these years, the second season will finally answer where Lottie Matthews is. The adult Lottie Matthews (played by Simone Kessel) still has that ominous air around her. Fans wonder if she still has a hold over a group of followers that might have contributed to the kidnapping of Natalie (Juliette Lewis).
Meanwhile, Shauna, Taissa, Misty, and Nat try to cover their tracks in the present during an ongoing police investigation. They also have to deal with knowing about Lottie being alive and how she could still influence their lives. While the internet will continue to brim with wild fan theories, the second season of ‘Yellowjackets‘ is set to premiere on March 26, 2023, at Showtime.

‘Yellowjackets’ Is Inspired By Real-Life Events
‘Yellowjackets‘ is the story of a high school football team that survives a plane crash and the harsh wilderness surrounding them. Years later, some of these young women, now troubled adults, deal with the psychological fallout of the plane wreckage they lived through.
Unfortunately, the show is inspired by the actual events of the ill-fated Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571. The plane was carrying 45 passengers when it crashed into the Andes Mountains. 12 died instantly. The remaining people on the flight braved heavy snow and harsh conditions. Unfortunately, only 16 made it alive.
