Just when you thought you had seen it all, ‘Yellowjackets’ makes another chilling decision. After surviving the onslaught of teenage cannibal girls, Javi dies while trying to help Natalie. In the wilderness, having a kind heart becomes a shortcut to death.
Meanwhile, in the present, Shauna become becomes a murder suspect. The group finally talks about their inability to cope with their PTSD and how their loved ones continue to be affected by it. Lottie comes up with a questionable final solution when all hope is lost.

‘Yellowjackets’ Season 2: Javi Is Lost To The Wilderness
Despite being strong-willed, the Yellowjackets are starting to grow weak with a lack of nourishment. Lottie, barely recovering from the beating she took from Shauna, volunteers her body for food in case she doesn’t make it. However, the group’s reverence for Lottie stops them. Instead, they pick a game of chance to choose whose body will serve as good. Natalie picks up the Queen (the exact card Lottie sees in one of her hallucinations).
But there’s no caressing for this lamb about to be slaughtered. As she’s about to get her throat sliced, Adam finally intervenes and tells Natalie to make a run for it. Angered at their food being taken away, the group chases her. Javi assures Natalie of a safe place. However, before they get there, Javi falls into the frozen lake. Since his death absolves Yellowjackets from killing one of their own, Javi isn’t rescued. The wilderness takes life, but will it also save one in return? And where did Coach Ben go?

‘Yellowjackets’ Season 2: The Wilderness Chooses One More Time
In the present, Shauna informs the group about the hellscape his life is about to become. Shocked at how the events have unfolded, Lottie takes the group to “Sharing Shack.” Everyone plays catch about the timeline of the crime to cover their tracks while Jeff, Shauna’s husband, is questioned by Adam about Shauna’s involvement in Adam’s murder. To everyone’s surprise, Taissa informs the group about Jessica Roberts working for her.
Unable to read the room, Misty reveals how she “took care of her. “ Everyone in the shack laments how life has turned out—Lottie comments on how they are still stuck in the wilderness despite being rescued. Once again, she asks the group for a human sacrifice. As the grown-up Yellowjackets look at each other, Lottie passes around a tray in which one of the cups contains a life-taking medicine.
