Uzumaki Naruto is the protagonist of ‘Naruto’ and is the father of Boruto Uzumaki, the protagonist of ‘Boruto’. Naruto was born in Konoha and was made the jinchuriki of the nine-tailed fox at birth. As a result of this, he was despised by the villagers and was called a monster. However, he grew strong and ultimately saved the village from Pain, and then the entire Shinobi world from Madara and Kaguya

After the end of the fourth great ninja war, after Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto successfully defeated Kaguya, he was revered as a hero. Shortly after this, he became the seventh Hokage after Kakashi. He is currently the strongest Shinobi in the world along with Sasuke.

Is Naruto Really Dead?

Kawaki's statement to Boruto
Kawaki’s statement to Boruto

At the start of ‘Boruto’, Kawaki mentioned to Boruto that he would send him to the same place he sent his father. Due to this statement, fans wondered if Kawaki was going to kill Naruto down the line. Fans became more agitated when they realized that Naruto took Kawaki under his wing and made him a part of the family.

The recent chapter of the manga, shows that Naruto was dead. The entire Shinobi world believed him to be dead. However, it was revealed that Naruto is alive and perfectly well. Kawaki explained to Naruto that he was going to eliminate all the Ōtsutsukis in the world, including Boruto as he was a vessel for Momoshiki. He wanted to do that because he wanted to protect people and didn’t want Naruto’s life to be threatened anymore.

Kawaki knew that Naruto would never let anyone kill his son, and as a result, he sent Naruto and Hinata to an alternate dimension where time doesn’t flow, meaning they both will not age. He changed the facts and manipulated them and made it seem like Boruto killed his father.

Naruto is well and alive and is more than likely to return to the series. After a few years, after the concluding battle between Kawaki and Boruto, Naruto will return. Since time doesn’t flow in the dimension he was sent to, he wouldn’t have aged a day.
