‘Demon Slayer’ is one of the most popular anime of all time. Fans have genuinely loved the recent season of the anime which features the swordsmith Village arc. Fans loved the series and they are extremely eager for the next season of the anime. The next season is going to feature the Hashira training arc which is one of the most loved and important arcs of the story.
The anime watchers are unaware of the manga and some of those fans believe that this arc will be the last. Some other fans on the contrary believe that the Hashira training arc will not be the last. Find out whether the Hashira training arc would be the last arc of ‘Demon Slayer’.
What Is The Hashira Training Arc?
The Hashira training arc takes place after the Swordsmith Village arc. It is the tenth arc of the series and it is the one that fans love the most. This arc is the one that is going to be animated in the next season of ‘Demon Slayer’. No release date has been revealed by the animation studio, but the next season will most probably release in early 2024.
In this arc, Tanjiro goes to visit the stone Hashira, Himejima Gyomei. Gyomei is considered to be the strongest Hashira and for good reason. Tanjiro visits him to ask him to train him in order to become a Hashira. Gyomei agrees and begins training Tanjiro. The Hashira training is grueling and very tough and earning Gyomei’s approval seems to be tougher than that. Meanwhile, Muzan and the new upper moon, 4 Nakime, begin their search for Ubuyashiki and Nezuko, who can now withstand the sun.
Is This Arc The Final Season?
As mentioned above, the Hashira training arc is the tenth arc of the series. Fortunately, it is not the final arc. Tanjiro asks Himejima to train him to be prepared for the upcoming battle with Muzan and his upper moons. After this arc, there is the final arc which features the ultimate battle between the demon slayers and Muzan and his demons.
The last arc will cause a lot of sadness for the anime fans. Many fan-favourite characters die in that arc and the twist in the end makes that arc extremely good. Fans truly loved that arc and apart from that, the Hashira training arc seems to be their favorite. The fourth season of ‘Demon Slayer’ has been confirmed. As the Hashira training arc is not the last in the manga, the fourth season will not be the end of the anime unless the animation studio decides to stop animating the series during the final arc which is essentially the climax of the series. This seems highly unlikely and therefore, the Hashira training arc will not be the final season of the fan-favorite series.
